I've wanted to ride a motorcycle almost all my life, but there was always something that kept me from realizing my dream. It wasn't until I was 56 years old when this finally became possible. I realized that if I don't learn to ride now, I probably never will. So, I looked for the nearest H-D dealership (Wolverine H-D in Clinton Township) and signed up for its Riding Academy. About a week before classes were to begin, I went to Wolverine Harley-Davidson to purchase the riding gear I needed. It was then that I met Cheri. She introduced me to the Riding Academy and what I should expect to learn. When I told her I've never been on a motorcycle before, she smiled and reassured me that she'll do everything she can to not only get me riding but to do so safely. Throughout the four-day course, Cheri proved to be very informative andequally importantalways friendly and encouraging. She's certainly had countless students before me, but she remained excited and enthusiastic to teach me and my classmates. Cheri made learning fun even when we struggled with a few of the courses she laid out. She has a talent for making you feel confident, a rare gift for any instructor.
